There are many things I’m thankful for especially around this time of the year. I’m thankful for the beautiful weather in November in New York, as I’m thrust into a week packed with designs, meetings, deadlines, filming, and travel.
However, November greets me with an inner yearning for family & friends and how I am so grateful to have them. Therefore, I would like to share the things that inspire me around this busy time, such as the bright tablescape setting; with soft colors of gray, beige, gold and white. Not traditional for a festive setting, but it creates a simple classic look that your friends and family will enjoy.
Using different size pumpkins, acorns and chestnuts, make sure you tape off all stems and spray paint them with your favorite colors. I suggest you spray paint outside where it’s well ventilated. Alternate the square bin and use a cake serving tray as an option. Place pumpkins, acorns and dried foliage in different areas of the center piece. The white antique table cloth adds an elegant and soft look. Add rosemary, cinnamon sticks or lavender to the silverware setting. The scent of these natural spices will not only appeal to your senses, but will delight the fun loving connoisseur at your table. The music sheets add a classic touch to the table…some of Beethoven’s 5th symphony hot salsa version please! click below!!

Black cherry chutney from OPI, reminds me of my delish cherry pie, love the color for this time of the year, ooh la la, that’s hot! Aromatherapy around this busy time, keeps me grounded, sometimes i just crave the silence, add four drops of tangerine and lime salt crystals into a difusser, simply kick-off your sexy heels and most of all give thanks and be grateful.
